Get ready to drink more and fart less! Hallertau  #1 & #2 beers are now "reduced gluten". That's a fancy way of saying "Gluten Free" without having to back it up legally...

Hallertau have been making their delicious beer in the usual weird and wonderful way, but have been adding an enzyme to the wort which separates and eliminates the potentially inflammatory nature of the gluten protein chains! Since then, they have been getting strong positive anecdotal feedback from their gluten-unfriendly customers at the brewery.

Lab analysis is showing gluten in the beer at less than three parts per million, which is below the analytical threshold. 

Note: For added reassurance customers may wish to experiment with Hallertau's bottled product, which won't risk cross contamination from tap dispense lines.
