Sun 7th - Sunday Jazz with Ruckus (live) & DJ Josh-on-Decks
Ruckus are an improvising quartet playing original compositions by David Ward. From twisted tango and carnivalesque romps to disheveled swing and free tunes, this group agrees with Frank: jazz ain't dead, it just smells funny.
The superb John Bell (vibraphone) and Chris O'Connor (drums) will strike their percussion in unique and musical ways, while Rui Inaba (double bass) and David Ward (banjo) cunningly pluck their strings. They guarantee to raise a most joyous ruckus!
